Conclusion
In conclusion, our trip to America has been amazing. We have met a lot of new people and learnt living with another family.
Our visits to NYC, Boston and Newport have been really good. We have seen a lot of monuments and learnt a lot of American culture.
I think that this trip has been a great experience for us, in which we have learnt a lot about ourseleves and the other people.
I want to give thanks to all High School teachers (above all to Olano) and Montse and Jorge because they have helpt us when we needed something.
Thank you to our families too, and High School students because they have taken in us.
Return trip
The trip was shorter that our trip to America. Fatima and I were sitting next to Jorge and Montse.
During our trip we saw two movies. I only saw a little, because I was slept.
At 8.30 AM more or less we arrived in Madrid. There we caught our luggage and went to catch the bus, that took us from the airport to Valladolid.
When we arrived at school, our parents were there. I was so happy!!!
I ate culin stew and not hamburgers or hot dogs!!!!

Our last day at school was a little boring. We were in the library, in Science (watching a film)… We had lunch in the first lunch and after that, we bought T-shirts at the high school store.
Later we went to the gym to see something. It was like a party. The cheerleaders did a dance, and teachers and pupils played some games.
At two more or less, we went to catch the luggage. We had to say goodbye each other. It was the worst part. Almost everybody was crying. It was hard to say goodbye to our families and friends.

Boston again
Today we have been in Boston again. The weather wasn’t very good, it was cloudy.
We have visited the and more monuments.
After that, we have eaten and bougth lots of things.

Halloween Party
It was on Saturday at the Portuguese club. Emily, some of her friends and I wore very funny costumes. We were teddies of different colors. I was the love-a-lot teddy.
We were dancing and eating, and after that, we began to decorate the pumpkins. We cut the eyes and the mouth, and then we put a candle in them. When we switched off the light, all the punpkins were shinning.
Finaly, we had to choose the one we liked best.

We have gone to school by car. I was completly sleepy. In English, we have watched a film. I haven’t understood a lot.
Then, we have gone to Science’s class. It hasn’t been funny. We have dissected four cats, to see their organs.
After that we have been writing our blogs. I had a lot to write.
The Statue of Liberty
On Sunday we went to see the most important monument (in my opinion) of New York. We had to take a boat, that carried us to the Statue. The weather was perfect: sunny and hot (not too much).
The statue was big, but I thought that it was bigger. We took a lot of pictures and bought things.
After that, we caught the boat again to return.
Mary Poppins Musical
On Sunday Night we went to a theatre to see Mary Poppins. It was wonderfull. The decoration was nice and the characters sang very well. We didn’t understand everything, but we liked it. The best part was when Mary flew above all.
After that, we could go shopping in the city until 11.30. We bought a lot of things!
First experience in NYC
The first experience in NYC wasn’t very good.
When we arrived to the hotel, we took our bags from the bus. And… surprise!! Some of those bags were wet, with a blue liquid. My bag was the dirtiest. We thought that my clothes were not dirty, but when we opened it… only one T-shirt and the pyjama were clean. 
We had to take pictures of all the dirty clothes.
The bus company is going to pay it. We are going to take the clothes to a dry cleaner’s to see if they can clean them, but if they can’t, the company has to pay us money for new clothes.
My second hockey game
It was on Saturday, in Boston. I went with Emily and her parents. We had lunch there and watched the game in the Premium zone. It was amazing.
In the break, two teams of small children were playing a little game. It was fun!
We have to leave early, because at 7 we had a Halloween party.
A day in Middle East School
Today, we’ve been in a different school. It’s not a High School, but a Middle School, so students are younger. It has been really fun. We have talked a lot with the students, and Javi has done BreakDance. Students were very surprised.
We have eaten pizza with salat and a cookie.
After that we have been with the computers.

Today it has been a boring day. We have been studying, reading and even sleeping. After lunch, Fatima and I have got lost in the High School. We didn’t find Emily, and we didn’t know where we had to go. We have met Kristen and she has asked in Secretary where she was. Finally, we have found Maths’ class.
After school, we have been watching football players while they were training.
A Basketball Game
Yesterday night all the Spanish were with some of the Americans to a basketball game: Celtics vs. Knicks. It was in Boston. The court was huge, but there were not a lot of people. It was amazing and we enjoyed a lot. Finally, Celtics won 101 – 61. In the bus, when we returned Milford, most of the people were asleep.
17 – 10 – 07
We’ve gone to school at 7.15. Jorge has told us that we could use the computer at 8.30. We’ve gone there and written in our blogs. Classes have finished at 10.30 and I have gone to a Chinese restaurant with Mabel and Fatima. It has been grate.
Our visit to Newport
Yerterday we were in Newport. We caught the bus at 7.30. The trip was a bit long, but finally we arrived there. The first mansion we visited was “The Breakers”. It was my favourite mansion. The guide explained us it in Spanish, so we understood everything. There were a lot of huge rooms with a lot of forniture.
The second mansion was “Roseclif”. It was near the sea. The guide only spoke Spanish, so we didn’t understand a lot. The explication was short and then we could go to the garden near it and see the sea. We did a lot of photos and had a good time.
After that, we went to eat. Fatima and I were in Yankee Candle. We bougth several candles with good smells. At 3 we returned to the bus. There was a problem with it and we almost had to call another bus to return Milford.
15 – 10 – 07
On Monday, we were only at Spanish classes. Olano decided it because normal classes were a little boring. It was really fun, because his accent is different from ours. In Olano’s class, students learn one sentence like “matar dos pajaros de un tiro” (“kill two birds with a stone”). We were interviewing each other and we learnt a lot of things about the American students.
We were to a English class for foreign students. All the students were from Brazil and Ecuador.
Pinz Bowling
Yesterday, all the Spanish were bowling with our American partner. We had a very good time. I am not good at bowling, but I enjoyed a lot.
The game plan
On Sunday, my family and I went to see a movie. We saw “The game plan”. It was about a football player who had a secret daughter. He met her at his house, and she had to went with her to every place. It was really funny and I understood the whole film.
After that, we went to a restaurant.
A day in Boston
On October the seventh, we were in Boston. We travelled there by bus, early in the morning.
First, we done a trip with a bus-boat. First we went on the road, and then, the same vehicle went into the water. It was fun. The driver was a bit weird. He had a very long braid and a gold earring on his left ear.
After that, we went to Science Museum. It was really good. We had lunch there too.
American Football Game
Emily is cheerleader, so this morning we have gone to an american football game. It was very cold at first, but then, it became warmer. The game has been a bit boring for me, because I don’t like football, but I have enjoyed a lot.
Disable people’s party
Yesterday night we went to a very special party at Milford High School. It was for boys and girls with Down’s Syndrome. It was really great. We could eat, drink and dance.
It was amazing watching how those boys and girls enjoyed the party. They were al dancing and laughing.
We returned home at about 10 o’clock. I was absolutely exhausted, so I went to bed.
12 – 10 – 07
We’ve get a meeting at 7.00. It has been really good. We have eaten cookies, saw photos of our school in Valladolid…
Then, we have gone to English class. There, I have drawn. After that, we have gone to Science . I have continue drawing. It has been a bit boring.
At 10.00 we have caught a bus to go to BVT, another high school in Milford. There, students learn cooking, electronics, design… It has been really good. We have eaten pasta an chiken in the same school, made by students. It was delicious!
At 2.00 we were at MHS again. Fatima and I have gone with Em to cheering, until 5 o’clock.
11 – 10 – 07
At first, Spanish studients have got a meeting with our American students. Olano has given us the timetable for 2 weeks. Tomorrow we are visiting another high school in Milford. After that, we have gone to English class. It has been really boring.
After English, Anatomy. Helena, Raquel and I have studied.
Later, we have gone to have lunch. Today I haven’t eaten a burger. I have eaten pasta and salat.
Then we have gone to the gymnasium. We have been seeing students playing volley and basket.
At last, we have gone to Maths class. I have been doing my homework the whole hour.
Hockey Game
10 – 10 – 07
We’ve woke up at 6.20. At 7.15 we have left home and gone to school. At first class, English. I’ve been with Javi, Raquel and Carola studying and doing homework. At second class, Science. They have done an exam, and Helena and I have read a book and studied. Then I’ve gone with Emily to band (she plays violin) Later we’ve gone to Chorus. It has been fun to listen the teacher singing. At 12 we’ve gone to have lunch, a cheeseburger and chips. It was delicious! At last, we have gone to Maths class. Emily got 81 in his exam. After school, Emi had to cheer (she’s cheerleader). I have been watching them, and I’ve liked it a lot.
Television
On Sunday, I got up early in the morning, and I began to watch TV. At first, I saw cartoons (Mickey Mouse), and then I saw a very cool program. It was about funny things that happens in weddings. I laughed a lot!!
Our First American Party
From 7.00 to 11.30. It was simply amazing. There were about one hundred people, all eating and dancing. All dressed in black and white clothes. It was like in the films.
At the end, most of the people took their shoes off and danced barefoot. It was more confortable!!!
Halloween Decoration
My house is all decorated with Halloween objects. There are witches near the streetlamps, black cats on the forniture, Halloween flags… It’s fun. All the houses have Halloween decoration. Here this is a very important holiday.
Our first day in USA
The trip was a bit long. So many hours at the plane… But finally, we arrived at Boston. The security measures were very strict. In fact, Montse take Fatima and me a picture in the airport and a security guy told her to show him all the photos of her camera. She was a bit afraid. When we were in the bus along Milford, Jorge told us that our American ‘brothers’ and ’sisters’ thought that we will arrive on Saturday, instead of on Friday, so we have to go to a hotel and sleep there. We had dinner in Burger King and went early to bed, because we were completely tired.
